OE GM Pontiac water pump for 455HO 455 SD and great replacement pump for Ram Air IV – RAIV This pump has the cast iron impeller for best cooling for the best price. I use this pump in most of my high end Pontiac engine rebuilds with great results.
It is criticle to use the single divider plate and 2 sleeves. The divider plate should be 1/16″ from the impeller for max cooling. There are detailed instructions on the internet on this procedure, please do not contact me on this procedure.
One of the advantages of using this pump instead of the new reproductions is the look for correctness and fit. Some new pumps do not allow the special washer for the timing cover to intake bolt to fit. So if your doing a correct looking engine, these are the pumps to use.
