It is for blocks that are line honed.
By properly line honing a Pontiac block, you loose a little distance from the cam to the crank. This timing set has solved this problem by shortening the distance by .005”

I found this timing set better then most billet ones. The weight and machining of this is much better.
Many of the billet sets are made overseas, have metal flashing from the poor machined gears!
That is metal that ends up in your engine – yuck!
