Kit includes:
8 standard coolant plugs(3 per side for 67 and newer engines – only 2 per side needed for 66 and earlier engines),
2 rear coolant plugs, cam plug and 2 threaded pipe plugs with rear core plug for the oil galley.
Plus as a bonus, you will receive 2 additional short length front pipe plugs to eliminate the press in/staked plugs.
This is the process I do on all my high-end Pontiac rebuilds. I recommend a machine shop to tap these as the plugs cannot go too deep and block the oil galley feed holes.
The standard press plugs are also included if you want go stock.
Also included in kit is 2 coolant drain plugs for the sides of the block. These have the correct 7/16 hex heads – the best plug to remove. Brass, not steel
Some shops use internal hex plugs that can strip out!
