Cam has CHOPPY idle
Works best on high compression for 400’s to help “bleed off compression”
(9:1 or higher for 400 engines – 8:0 or higher 421/428/455 and stroker engines)
OK for AC and power brake cars for larger displacement engines.
OK for power brakes and NO AC for 400 engines
works OK with stock converter – recommended converter around 2000 – 2500 for 400 rpm
Stock or lower RPM converter OK for larger cubic inch engines
My most popular choice for performance engines using a flat tappet cam that idles much better then other performance cams available
excellent Marine cam as well for 455 or Stroker engines
